A mondegreen is when you mishear or misinterpret a lyric or song, and much like a mondegreen, this litter didn't go the way we thought it would! With only two puppies, and both boys, they changed the plan I had in my head for this pairing, but that's ok! Life is all about making changes and taking unexpected turns. Rey delivered two boys, Lime and Teal, in the late evening of July 2, 2024.

Health
Rey is a carrier of Von Willebrands, but Eggsy is clear. This means none of the puppies would inherit two genes for Von Willebrands, but they could be carriers like their mother. Carriers do not show any sympoms, but it is important to breed them with clear mates, so none of their offspring will be affected. Rey is also a carrier for prcd-PRA, a newly discovered variant among Manchesters. Each puppy was tested for both vWD and prcd-PRA, and here are the resuts.
